Madre Vaca is the brainchild of Benjamin Shorstein, a Florida-based composer who works with a long-standing collective of collaborators to create something between prog rock, jazz and classical compositions. The latest Madre Vaca release is the 69 minute “Tunnel to the Moon”, inspired by and based on poems written by Charlie Shuck almost 2 decades ago. This is an epic album filled with huge tunes and crosses so many genres I couldn’t help but want to find out more…
